Little Footprints Daycare was started in Oct 2005. The program was founded by Ms. Jayshree Chelat who after having her 3rd child quit her full time job at a leading bank and put to use her years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and her passion to work with young children. The program started off as a family childcare with a license to operate for 7 children. In 2007, when many of these children grew into school age, the license was amended to a school age program accommodating 10 children. This helped ease the continued parent demand for more spaces. In sept. 2011, a second center was opened to provide parents the ease of a one stop drop off for children that had younger siblings. The second center is managed by Ms. Selina Valencia, who is again an experienced, patient and a wonderful care-provider who connects very well with the children.
